In Ontario, the ministry of transportation (MTO) sets medical and vision standards all drivers must meet to be considered fit to drive; if someone has a health condition that could impair safe driving, they may be asked for medical documentation.
We offer a full range of travel vaccines to help protect you against illnesses you may encounter overseas. Many travel immunizations, such as yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A/B, and others — are not covered by OHIP and require private payment. We assess your destination and recommend the vaccines and medications best suited to your travel needs.
